To embark on the journey of mindfulness, one’s intention is paramount. Intention sets the stage for what is possible and affirms our commitment. The main intention is to observe moment to moment what arises.

Underlying the intention to practice mindfulness are seven particular attitudes which direct our energies toward receptivity and acceptance. These attitudes are non-judging, patience, freshness, trust, non-striving, acceptance and non-grasping.
